The mission or purpose of the Destination Downtown Newton Alliance is to advance the vibrancy, vitality, and prosperity of the downtown district.
DDNA will promote businesses and events outside the downtown district as they relate to the greater good of our mission, Newton and Jasper County.
The alliance is comprised of retailers, restaurants, and service businesses that focus on community celebrations, family-friendly programming, business promotions, and signature events.

The alliance collaborates with Supporting Partners in an effort to bridge communications with other stakeholders, create efficiencies and achieve common goals. Arts organizations, healthcare and professional service providers within the district are invited to join the group as a Service Partner and encouraged to participate in alliance activities.
